Today in Japanese class, our teacher, Kukimoto, tried to tell us what her image of American was. btw: Brandon, Callie, and I are the first American's she has ever talked to.
Note: She doesn't speak English very well, but she is studying
"Americans on television are loud and free."
"Americans in movies wear suits and sneakers (she giggled) and wear backpacks. (she giggled some more) And they eat hamburgers on the street"
and then...
"Bruce Wilson!"
